The month of March saw numerous social media campaigns and events, but of the many, here are a notable few!
Spring Serenity
Hosted by yours truly, Youth Leaders of York Region, the ongoing social media campaign aims to provide teens with techniques and resources to minimize their stress, especially during the school year. Through 12 daily posts viewers can explore topics ranging from educational facts about stress and anxiety to techniques such as the Pomodoro technique, something to help with time management using tomatoes! The Recharge March event will be hosted on April 16th, from 3-4:30 PM EST, focusing on different tips concerning time management. To find out more about Spring Serenity, visit this link. Race to the Vault
Race to the Vault by the Markham Mayor’s Youth Council presents an exciting adventure in search for the Craft Foods recipe. This brilliant event puts participants in a thrilling chase, much like an escape room, while donating to Blue Door, the largest emergency house provider in York Region! Blue Door seeks to provide support to those who are at risk of becoming homeless with affordable housing.
March brought us some intriguing events that everyone could enjoy while helping others. I can’t wait to see what everyone has in store for April!
