There were many great events in the month of May, including the Markham EXPO as well as the Advocates of Tomorrow annual conference that recently finished. The month of June also has numerous events, but here are 2 notable ones.

Underpression.ee’s Mental Health Cup
Underpression (UDP) is a youth-lead council aiming to educate people on mental health issues in society. On May 21, they hosted their mental health cup, where participants are split into groups and created presentations to educate each other on mental health topics. The top 3 groups were then given gift cards as awards. Participants were also awarded volunteer hours by entering.
Overall there were many events hosted this month, and although only 2 were mentioned, the effort from all to enliven the community is admirable! The hard work and dedication of these youth councils and organizations are incredible, round of applause to them all!
