There were plenty of events through the month of April through social media, and many to come as well. Here are 2 notable events, one upcoming and the other just recently past.

2022 Annual Conference “The Law of Nature”

Get ready for… Advocates of Tomorrow’s annual conference! This event will feature a team of legal professionals, a workshop directed and led by law students, and, last but certainly not least, an invigorating mock trial! The theme this year is on climate justice, tying that into the legal world. Through the conference you will be able to build networks and connections with legal experts and gain many necessary skills and knowledge about the world of law. Markham EXPO

Speaking of annual events, the Markham EXPO, hosted by the MMYC (Markham Mayor’s Youth Council) as well as the MMJC and MMYCA (Markham Mayor’s Junior Council and Markham Mayor’s Youth Council Ambassadors respectively. This event that occurred on May 7th featured a My Modern Markham design challenge, DIY ice cream, salt and watercolour painting, plant propagation, simple origami, and so much more! Volunteers also worked with Project 5K to support HashtagLunchbag, an organization dedicated to helping those hungry around the world with a packed lunch bag and note!

There were so many amazing events in April, and many more upcoming. I can’t wait to see what else May has to offer!
