Welcome to Youth Leaders of York Regions' Seasonal Newsletter!

Youth Leaders of York Region is a student-run non-profit organization. We aim to provide youth in York Region with opportunities to advocate for causes they believe in and to develop leadership skills. Throughout the year, our council encourages youth to give back to their communities by hosting exciting events alongside local charities as well as creating volunteer initiatives.

In this newsletter, you can find exciting opportunities to participate and engage in. YLOYR and our partner organizations will be posting any upcoming events where you can network with like-minded peers and gain valuable soft skills. Topics include financial literacy, environmental activism, social justice, mental health, and more. There's an opportunity for any interest! Our forum will also include a submissions feature where you can submit articles, short stories, poems, and art pieces on a monthly topic such as bullying. This is your chance to express your opinion on modern issues while showcasing your creativity.
