As the summer makes its move into our lives, as do many applications for next year's youth councils. Let’s take a look at two opportunities to join these organizations to help your community, regardless of your age!

YOUTH LEADERS OF YORK REGION APPLICATIONS!

Applications are finally open for this council, Youth Leaders of York Region!! We are a youth-led non-profit organization that aims to help youth advocate for causes they believe in. This year, we have had campaigns such as Spring Serenity: teaching people about mental health, the importance of it, and healthy coping methods with stress. Now you can join our team and make a bigger impact about what you believe in, while earning volunteer hours! Youth Leaders projects and emphasizes everyone's voice, helping you make more of a difference in changing our communities.

EXY Society Executive Applications

EXY Society, or Expand Youth Society, is an organization dedicated to helping teens learn essential skills to succeed. They emphasize soft skills that are crucial for future careers as we settle into the 21st century. They are now opening executive applications, so you can apply for positions in the finance, IT, events, communications, and strategy departments as well as the Chief Financing, Operating, and Technology Officer positions!
